1.3. This Privacy Policy applies solely to the Website. The Foundation does not control
and is not responsible for third-party websites that the User may access via links available on the
Website.
1.4. Principles of personal data processing:
1.4.1. Personal data processing shall be carried out on a lawful basis.
1.4.2. The processing of personal data is limited to achieving specific, predetermined,
and lawful purposes. The processing of personal data for purposes incompatible with the
purposes of its collection is not permitted.
1.4.3. It is prohibited to combine databases containing personal data that are
processed for purposes incompatible with one another.

2.1. For the purposes of this Policy, «personal data» shall mean:
2.1.1. any information relating to an identified or identifiable individual (personal
data subject) that the User voluntarily provides when submitting an inquiry via feedback
forms, by email posted on the Website, or in an application submitted in any other form;

first name, patronymic, email address, telephone number, position, name of the organization,
as well as any other information the User chooses to provide;

technical specifications of the hardware and software used by the User, date and time of

2.2.1. The Website uses strictly necessary, functional, and analytical cookies, as well
as other local data storage technologies in the User’s browser.
2.2.2. Strictly necessary cookies are used exclusively to support the basic functional
capabilities of the Website. They are not used for marketing, analytical, or other similar
purposes and do not affect the rights and legitimate interests of personal data subjects.
2.2.3. Functional and analytical cookies collect anonymized information about visits

5. Legal Grounds for Processing Personal Data and Procedure for Granting Consent
5.1. The collection and processing of personal data are carried out on the basis of the User’s
voluntary, informed, and unambiguous consent, expressed by submitting an inquiry (application)
via feedback forms or by email indicated on the Website. The User’s consent to the processing of
cookies is expressed by continuing to use the Website after the display of a banner notification
and/or by clicking the «Agree» button in the cookie settings window.
5.2. All Operator’s employees, as well as other persons who have gained access to personal
data, are obliged to maintain confidentiality, unless otherwise provided by law.
6. Collection, Processing, Storage, and Protection of Personal Data
6.1. The Website takes all necessary legal, organizational, and technical measures to protect
personal data from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, deletion, or other unlawful use.
6.2. All information provided by the User is processed in compliance with the requirements
of the legislation of the Russian Federation on personal data and stored in a secure environment
with restricted access. The initial collection and recording of personal data of citizens of the
Russian Federation are carried out on servers physically located within the territory of the Russian
Federation. After the initial collection, cross-border transfer is permitted in accordance with the
procedure and conditions set forth by current Russian legislation.
6.3. The User’s personal data may be transferred to third parties only in the following cases:
6.3.1. if the User has given explicit consent;
6.3.2. if the transfer is required in accordance with the laws of the Russian Federation;
6.3.3. in the event of a sale of the Website, the acquirer assumes all obligations to
comply with the terms of this Policy in relation to the personal information received.
6.4. The User’s personal data is processed without time limitation by the following means:
collection, recording, systematization, accumulation, storage, clarification (updating,
modification), retrieval, use, transfer (distribution, provision, access), anonymization, blocking,
deletion, destruction of personal data, including within personal data information systems using
automated means or without the use of such means, in accordance with Federal Law No. 152-FZ
of 27.07.2006 «On Personal Data.»
6.5. In the event of loss or unauthorized disclosure of personal data, the Foundation will
take all possible measures to minimize the consequences and, in cases provided for by law, will
notify the personal data subject.
6.6. Personal data is processed without time limitation unless otherwise stipulated by a
request from the personal data subject or by law.
6.7. The Foundation, in cooperation with the User, shall take measures, where necessary,
to prevent damage caused by unauthorized access, loss, or dissemination of personal data.
7. Rights of the Operator and of the Personal Data Subject
7.1. The User has the right to:
7.1.1. provide personal data voluntarily as part of a submitted inquiry;
7.1.2. withdraw their consent to personal data processing by sending a corresponding
request to the email address specified in this Policy;
7.1.3. obtain information regarding their personal data processed by the Operator;
7.1.4. request the clarification, blocking, or deletion of personal data in the event of
its improper processing;
7.1.5. exercise other rights provided for by the current legislation of the Russian
Federation.
7.2. The Operator undertakes to:
7.2.1. use the information received solely for the purposes specified in this Privacy
Policy;
7.2.2. ensure the security and confidentiality of personal data, not to disclose or
transfer it to third parties without the User’s consent, except in cases expressly provided for
by law or this Policy;
7.2.3. take legal, organizational, and technical measures aimed at protecting personal
data from unlawful or accidental access, alteration, dissemination, deletion, and other
unlawful actions;
7.2.4. upon receiving a request from a personal data subject or an authorized body,
block the relevant personal data for the period of verification in the event that violations are
detected.
7.3. The User is responsible for the accuracy of the personal data provided. If inaccurate
data is provided, liability is determined in accordance with the laws of the Russian Federation.
8. Amendments to the Privacy Policy
8.1. The Operator reserves the right to amend this Privacy Policy at any time without prior
notice to Users.
8.2. The User is responsible for independently reviewing the current version of the Policy
on the Website.
8.3. The new Privacy Policy becomes effective upon its posting on the Website, unless
otherwise provided for by the new version of the Privacy Policy.
9. Rules for Access to Materials on the Website
9.1. All exclusive rights to images, videos, texts, trademarks, and other materials posted
on the Website belong to the Center for Strategic Research Foundation on lawful grounds.
9.2. The use of such materials by third parties is permitted only with the prior written
consent of the Center for Strategic Research Foundation.
9.3. The use of intellectual property objects posted on the Website is carried out in
accordance with the terms of the Licensing Policy of the national tourism brand «Discover
Russia».
Certain objects explicitly listed in the Appendix to the Licensing Policy are provided for
use under an open license, which constitutes an adhesion contract. The use of such objects is
permitted exclusively by certain categories of Users in the manner and within the limits established
by Section 12 of the Licensing Policy.
10. Final Provisions
10.1. In all matters not regulated by this Policy, the legislation of the Russian Federation
shall apply.
